About Daniel
Sound Artist, MHSA
Daniel Hall is a sound artist, veteran, lifelong learner, and creative explorer with a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA). Deeply interested in meditation, mindful awareness, movement practices, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), he is continually exploring how presence, listening, and compassionate communication can enrich our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Inspired by nature and driven by curiosity, Daniel enjoys creating and adapting unique instruments, including handcrafted flutes and didgeridoos, exploring how different materials, textures, and tones can inspire creativity, reflection, and connection. Drawing from a diverse collection of instruments—including flutes, didgeridoos, handpan, percussion, and ambient soundscapes—he creates immersive sonic environments that invite participants into a deeper experience of listening and presence.
A natural tinkerer and lifelong student, Daniel approaches sound with both creativity and wonder. Whether experimenting with new instruments, exploring the sounds of the natural world, or deepening his own contemplative practices, he is guided by a spirit of curiosity and discovery. His playful and innovative approach brings a unique dimension to every sound immersion, encouraging participants to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them.
Together with his wife, Sonya Verma, Daniel co-facilitates immersive sound experiences throughout the community, creating welcoming spaces that support reflection, connection, wellbeing, and the transformative practice of deep listening.
